Malawi coach seeks Renard advice

Malawi Flames coach Kinnah Phiri has certainly claimed a coaching first in going out of his way to learn from a counterpart whose team he defeated.
After leading the Flames to a 1-0 win over Zambia in a strength-testing match on July 6, Kinnah, over the weekend, flew to Lusaka to get some tips from the Chipolopolo's mentor Herve Renard.
Kinnah sought Herve's help ahead of the Flames' 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Black Stars in Accra on September 8.
Zambia have beaten Ghana in recent two consecutive Nations Cup games, hence the Malawi coach's trip.
"I had a good trip to Zambia but I do not want to go into details. All I can say is that our preparations are going one fine. We have been joined in camp by Dave Banda and Moses Chavula who have returned from South Africa. We also expect Chiukepo Msowoya," he told Supersport.com.
Other foreign based players called up for Malawi camp are Simplex Nthala from Vilankulo of Mozambique, Jimmy Zakazaka of Thanda Royal Zulu, Black Leopards' Harry Nyirenda, Atusaye Nyondo and Robin Ngalande from SuperSport United and BidVest Wits University.
Victor Nyirenda from a Vietnam club and Bloemfontein Celtic's Limbikani Mzava have found their place in the team.
Flames, will before travelling to Ghana, stop over in Liberia on September 4 for a strength testing match
